How to Become a Family Home Provider
No professional qualifications are necessary, but anyone wishing to provide support in their home must be a responsible, caring person, or family and successfully complete the screening and orientation process.
Community Living Parry Sound will provide the necessary orientation and training required to become a Family Home Provider.
LifeShare will serve people who may require a moderate level of support, and money management; as well as those who have more challenging needs. In addition, Family Home Providers will receive ongoing support, supervision and regularly scheduled respite from Community Living Parry Sound.
Excellent remuneration will be provided.
Sponsorship of the LifeShare Program will be an ongoing responsibility of Community Living Parry Sound with Family Home Providers receiving a portion of their financial reimbursement through the agency.
