How to Become a Family Home Provider

No professional qualifications are necessary, but anyone wishing to provide support in their home must be a responsible, caring person, or family and successfully complete the screening and orientation process.

Community Living Parry Sound will provide the necessary orientation and training required to become a Family Home Provider.

LifeShare will serve people who may require a moderate level of support, money management; as well as those who have more challenging needs. In addition, Family Home Providers will receive on-going support, supervision and regularly scheduled respite from Community Living Parry Sound.

Excellent remuneration will be provided.

Sponsorship of the LifeShare Program will be an on-going responsibility of Community Living Parry Sound with Family Home Providers receiving a portion of their financial reimbursement through the agency.
